ABOUT THE NETWORK

Being a Multidisciplinary Network, Dimension works as an innovative ecosystem where the strengths of different professionals, pioneers in their own fields come together in a shared collaboration of connected disciplines to help in the growth of the mentees while also growing themselves. The foundation of Dimension is the sharing of skills and knowledge between a mentor and mentee by undergoing continuous training and development. We strongly believe that mentees, interns and apprentices are the main priorities of Dimension who help in providing assistance to all those who are part of it.

Our Network is not only restricted to woodworking but includes design, craft, carpentry, architecture and related disciplines. In Dimension the mentee is trained in one particular field to its excellency after which he/she is termed mentor on producing a masterpiece, a paragon of the skills and knowledge that is gained. The use of such a vast space of multidisciplinary subjects is to understand that in today’s world, a good product cannot just be produced with one material but is a combination and correlation of different specialists coming together to form a piece that is one of a kind.

THE NETWORK CONSISTS OF THREE COMPONENTS

NETWORK SPACE JOURNEY

NETWORK

An open source platform for all people that brings together multidisciplinary mentees and mentors in order to perfect its art and expand the field of possibilities.

A) Free Network

Everybody can follow DIMENSION, and in the free membership you get information about news, events and courses. You don't have the right to vote at conferences and no discounts at events.

B) Members Network

Paid membership, access to full network database, invitations to Dimension convention and events, access to curated forum and discussion platform. Eligible to vote at the convention and the material can be sponsored for the masterpiece.

SPACE

Spaces are locations that host the activities of the network. They provide the infrastructure of the workshop and premises for the studies of the apprentice, mentees and mentors.

Places of learning where courses, seminars and the mentoring programs as open workshops and seminars are provided. Before registration, they are certified according to separate regulations and checked annually. The certification is based on the following principles: Ethics, occupational safety, machinery, accommodation, knowledge base, capacity for teaching assignments.

JOURNEY

A training program for young professionals in the industry to refine their skills and achieve a higher professional qualification. After two years travelling to minimum two different spaces and two masterpieces you will be accepted in the JOURNEY MENTOR program. After two years of teaching you will receive the diploma "Dimension Master".

Mentee (2 years)
Young professionals, after the basic training as Joiner, Carpenter and Cabinet Maker can enrol in the Dimension Journey program. You can refine your skills over a certain period at various Dimension Spaces and to further your education.

Mentor (2 years)
After completing the Dimension Mentee program, the member can enrol in the Dimension Mentor program. He passes on his woodworking knowledge to the members in the Dimension Journey program.

Masters and Experts
Are professionals and experts in his skilled field. They represent Dimension outside from the network. will organise and held speeches on Schools, ITI’s, University’s and Factory’s. They make the regulations for the divergent chapters and are responsible for the controls from the programs. After completing the Dimension Journey program, the people can participate as Dimension Teachers.
